The Certified Sherry Wine Specialist Course program and certification consists two 2-hour online sessions that includes the following:
Once you have registered, you will receive instructions on how to access the online classes and study materials.
A 50-question graded exam will take place at the end of Session 2. The award of "Certified Sherry Wine Specialist" will be granted to those with a minimum passing score of 75%. This Certificate of Achievement will be signed by both Lustau’s CEO and César Saldaña, President of the Regulatory Council of Jerez. A Certificate of Recognition will be issued to those that do not achieve the passing grade.
If a passing score is not achieved, students may choose to retake the exam at a later date and there are no restrictions as to how many times they may take the exam.
