About Priva:
After working in finance and property for many years, I followed my passion for wine and founded The Wine Space. I am a wine maker, I currently produce an organic Rosé from Sangiovese grapes in Tuscany and looking to expand with a red and a white wine as well from next year. I am also a wine consultant providing bespoke services including cellar advisory, wine travel itineraries and private wine tasting sessions. I (somewhat hesitantly) adapted to provide online wine tasting sessions during the lockdown, but it has surprisingly been a massive hit and has brought in clients from all around the world.
I have done WSET Levels 2 and 3 and also a viticulture course to have a thorough understanding of wine growing and winemaking.
I decided to enroll in IWS to learn about all regional Italian wines – it’s amazing how many indigenous grape varieties Italy has. I thoroughly enjoyed the course – it is very detailed and structured and gives an in-depth knowledge of one of the largest wine producing countries.
Being a wine producer in Italy, I certainly benefited a lot from the IWS course and it has also given me plenty of travel ideas for exploring Italy’s wine regions.
