Philipponnat

Over time, the Philipponnat family has built more than 500 years of presence in Champagne. The house style comes from its deep roots in the heart of the region.
It rests on three pillars: the intensity of Pinot Noir from the south-facing slopes of the Grande Vallée de la Marne, which forms the core of its cuvées; the mineral tension of chalk soils from Premier and Grand Crus; and precise know-how that produces wines true to the purity of their origin.
This expertise begins with demanding viticulture focused on fruit maturity and concentration. The resulting acidity, whether lively or softer, is balanced through the presence or absence of malolactic fermentation depending on the cuvée and vintage.
