Jura Producer Guide
The Ultimate Guide to Jura’s Leading Wineries. This quirky, esoteric, idiosyncratic wine region sits out on its own near the Swiss border. The outstanding wines from Chardonnay, Savagnin, Poulsard, Trousseau, and Pinot Noir have long been sommelier favourites, and the unique Vin Jaune is rightly revered as one of France’s great gifts to the wine world.

We're grateful to Wink Lorch for her assistance in helping us compile this Jura producer guide
Wink has been immersed in the world of wine since the 1980s, with a special focus on the Jura region. Her groundbreaking book Jura Wine (2014) was the first comprehensive English-language guide to the region, winning the André Simon Drink Prize and earning acclaim from Jancis Robinson and the New York Times.
A decade later, she followed up with Jura Wine: Ten Years On (2024), offering fresh insights into the evolving producers, wines, and trends of this distinctive region. Wink continues to live between London and the French Alps, writing, teaching, and championing Jura wines around the world.
WSG Members are able to order both books at a generously discounted rate through Académie du Vin Library. Details can be found on our Discounts Page
