Maison du Vigneron is the overall company name for the largest Jura négociant, owned by Les Grands Chais de France. Wines for export are often found under the name of Marcel Cabelier, especially their excellent value-for-money Crémant du Jura. This, and other wines in their complete Jura range, are also sold under a myriad other brand names - Aldi in the UK is a big customer for Crémant. The company now owns 55ha, mainly in the southern part of Jura - these estate wines are labelled as Domaine de Savagny or Domaine Durand Perron, and are a big step up from their négociant range, especially worthwhile are the Vin Jaune and Château-Chalon. The estate vineyards are well-managed and winemaking is under an experienced oenologist.
