Chartogne-Taillet

Located in the center of the village of Merfy, this is a fully family-run house passed down from generation to generation since 1870. The 11-hectare vineyard was taken over in 2006 by Alexandre Chartogne.
By keeping artisanal methods and winemaking close to nature, he has steered his Champagnes toward parcel selections. Bottle quantities are deliberately limited to ensure consistent quality year after year, with wines from selected cuvées aged at least three years in the cellar. Each parcel reflects the identity of its place and soil.
