Frédéric Savart

The Savart estate covers four hectares in Écueil, a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. Frédéric Savart’s philosophy is straightforward: “the best wine is made with the best grapes.” Work in both vineyard and cellar is carried out with respect for terroir and fruit. He favors handwork and preventive methods to preserve the ecosystem, and rather than shaping the wines during vinification and aging, he focuses on protecting them so their full range of nuances can come through.
Each cuvée reflects a balance between vineyard, vinification and élevage that he handles with complete control.
