Following Emile, Joseph and Bertrand, Hugues spent forty years bringing the technical knowledge needed to manage his vineyard and craft his wines. Since 2006, his commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture has opened a broader reflection on respecting natural terroir balances, environmental impact and human well-being. This philosophy shapes his grower estate of forty parcels spread across four villages of the Montagne de Reims: Verzenay, Verzy, Villers-Marmery and Villedommange.
