Jérôme Prévost

In Gueux, in the northwest of the Montagne de Reims, Jérôme Prévost took over a few vines from his grandmother. His first harvest was in 1987. With a strong sensitivity to plant life, he produces a “garden wine,” Les Béguines — a massale-selection Pinot Meunier that today ranks among the finest sparkling wines. The soils are worked with care and respect for living systems. He quickly eliminated pesticides and herbicides from the vineyard and became fascinated with mycorrhization. Two hectares harvested in the best years — that is all for the entire world.
