Founded in 1963 by Marc Hébrart, the house has been run since 1997 by his son Jean-Paul. The vineyard now covers just over 15 hectares on both sides of the Marne: Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, Avenay-Val-d’Or and Bisseuil on the right bank, and Oiry and Chouilly—Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs—on the left. The vines average about 30 years old. The estate grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay and practices sustainable viticulture, limiting chemical treatments as much as possible. Each parcel is vinified separately in oak barrels to preserve its individual character.
