René Geoffroy

Jean-Baptiste joined the family estate in the late 1980s. After studying at viticulture school, he learned the craft alongside his father and Pierrot. In 2008 he and his wife Karine moved the winemaking and commercial operations of Champagne Geoffroy to Aÿ, into a late-19th-century house. The estate’s 14 hectares stretch across the slopes of Damery, Hautvillers, Fleury-la-Rivière, and especially Cumières, a small Premier Cru village set between the Marne River and steep southeast-facing hillsides.
