Pierre Baillette

This small estate is located in Trois-Puits on the outskirts of Reims. The family property, less than four hectares, is run by fourth-generation grower Périne Baillette, who owns parcels in Trois-Puits and Rilly-la-Montagne classified Premier Cru, and in Verzenay classified Grand Cru. The vines have received no chemical weedkillers since 2007. Vinification takes place in barrels, always with indigenous yeasts and virtually no topping-up. Each cuvée reveals the identity of its parcels and of carefully tailored aging.
