Girard Bonnet

The Girard-Bonnet vineyard covers 12 hectares, mainly in the Côte des Blancs, specifically Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger (Grand Cru) and Vertus (Premier Cru), areas known for high-quality Chardonnay. Herbicides were phased out starting in the 2000s under Philippe Girard. The estate treats each vine individually, adjusting care according to age, site and exposure to bring out its character. Plant-based treatments, green manure and eco-grazing are all part of daily practice, with the shared aim of helping the vines thrive. The vineyard has been certified organic and Demeter since 2023.
