Masseria Falvo 1727

Masseria Falvo produces organic wines in the heart of the Pollino region—a hidden paradise between the mountains and the sea. The winery’s 26 hectares of vineyards are located in Saracena, just 15 km from the beaches of Sibari and the peaks of the Pollino mountains. Originally established for olive oil production, the estate still dedicates 130 of its 300 hectares to olive groves. Later, 35 hectares were planted with Clementine di Calabria, a prized IGP-certified product. In 2003, the Marini family expanded into high-quality viticulture by planting 7 hectares of vines in hilly, clay-rich soils at around 500 meters above sea level and constructing a new cellar. This initiative revived a winemaking tradition that has existed in the region since antiquity, reimagined through a modern lens.
