Giuseppe Calabrese

Founded in 2007 in Saracena at the foot of the Pollino mountains, the Giuseppe Calabrese winery began with three small family plots and one newly planted vineyard. From the start, Giuseppe adopted organic practices in both vineyard and cellar, using only indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfur. Today, he produces a small but high-quality output of 7,000–8,000 bottles per year, including the rare Moscato di Saracena, made using traditional methods. His winery exemplifies modern Calabrian entrepreneurship grounded in deep tradition.
