The original nucleus arose for the cultivation of olives and the production of oil and even today, of the total surface area of about 300 hectares, 130 are oriented towards olive growing. Subsequently, 35 hectares were used for the production of Clementine di Calabria, a flagship product of regional agriculture, protected by the IGP community trademark.
In 2003, the Marini family once again enriched their offering by focusing on quality viticulture. 7 hectares of vineyards were planted in hilly, clayey terrain, at about 500 m above sea level, and the new cellar was built. With this activity, the Poderi Marini company rediscovers, interpreting it in a modern key, a tradition that has been present in this area since ancient times.
